Cassidy Brothers at War

Have finished a couple more pictures in this series.  One is of Tom Cassidy, and the other of dad on a lakatoi (native dug-out canoe) at Madang during World War II.

Lately I've had time to do a few more drawings to add to my series of dad and his brothers during their war service in the 1940's.

Watercolour Classes

I have been teaching watercolour classes for beginners at Daisy Chain Scrapbooks in Nambour this year.  They are five week courses covering the basic techniques, and will commence in the new year on 11 January 2012.  Bookings can be made via myself or Daisy Chain.  Photos show student Carmel at the most recent class.

Stephen Roberts - Potter

Stephen is a friend of mine and I have known him for almost 30 years.  He is an excellent potter and well known on the Sunshine Coast.  Recently he and his wife Karri who is also a potter, held an open day at their Palmwoods home/studio. 

Automobile Art

I have done a few more car paintings since my last blog.  The Corolla is my own car, the MGTC was for  Richard, the husband of Meg my old primary school friend,  the Ford GT for my friend Kerry's husband Gary, and the V8 2009 Craig Lowndes Pink Vodafone Ford was a commission from a customer of the Gingertown Garage where I sell my cards and prints.
